Quota 1
Quota 1 is solely for applicants with a Danish Higher Secondary education (either corresponding to High School or vocational education) who apply only on the basis of this. Application deadline in this case is 5 July at 12 noon Danish Time (Central European Time).
Quota 2
If you wish to apply under Quota 2, you must apply online through www.optagelse.dk no later than 15 March at 12.00 noon Danish Time (Central European Time). As Dania does a continuous assessment of applications received, you are also welcome to contact us if you are in doubt with regard to Quota 2.
If you apply based on one of the following criteria, you must apply through Quota 2;
If you have a vocational education
If you have a non-Danish qualifying exam
If you want to apply under exemption, or if you do not have a qualifying exam. If you have a qualifying youth education (High School) and wish an assessment based on other things than your exam papers, you must apply through Quota 2.
All Quota 2 applications are assessed according to the following criteria:
Grades in your qualifying exam(s)
Level of the subjects included in the qualifying exam. Depending on exams this can include English, Mathematics, Economics and Physics.
Other education and relevant courses
(Relevant) work experience for at least 30 hours pr. week for a minimum of 16 weeks. This also includes military service and work placements or apprenticeships during an earlier vocational education.
Other activities lasting a minimum of 16 weeks (for example stays at Danish Folk high schools, travel abroad (not vacation)).
Period(s) of at least 1 year of unpaid volunteer work
Attached written motivation letter In the on-line application, you must include all the activities you wish to be considered with your application.
You must upload all documentation for your exams and all other activities as attached files to your application on www.optagelse.dk .
You must upload and send your application including all your quota 2 activities no later than 15 March at 12 noon Danish Time (Central European Time).
You can upload any documentation for ongoing quota 2 activities to www.optagelse.dk until 5 July at 12 noon Danish time.
