On Monday, 3 August, we were delighted to welcome 19 students to our Viborg campus for two exciting weeks of Summer School in Sustainable Marketing.

Our lecturer team have put together an inspiring programme that combines lectures and case work with visits to a range of companies, as well as three full-day excursions to the Danish West Coast, Aarhus, and Billund, including LEGO.

The 19 participants come from partner institutions in Canada (Humber Polytechnic), the Netherlands (Fontys and Windesheim), Poland (Wroclaw Business University and University of Technology and Arts), Belgium (VIVES), and Denmark (Dania Academy). We are also pleased to welcome a guest lecturer from IBS Budapest. Altogether, the students represent 11 different countries.

At the same time, our Summer School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is now well into its second week. The theme is “Doing Business in Vietnam”, led by Senior Lecturer Niels Dengsø. In addition to Dania students, participants include students from Humber Polytechnic, Canada, students and a lecturer from Business Academy South West, Denmark, as well as a group of students from HAW Hamburg. They are joined by Vietnamese students from HUTECH University, where the Summer School is being hosted.

Here, too, the programme offers a relevant mix of cultural experiences, academic learning, company visits, and excursions. Over the weekend, the group explored the fascinating Mekong Delta.

Our third Summer School is taking place in Toronto, hosted by Humber Polytechnic. Dania Marketing Management students are participating in the three-week programme “Social Media: Developing Your Digital Marketing Skills”, alongside a group of students and a lecturer from Business Academy Aarhus.

These three Summer Schools highlight Dania’s strong international partnerships and provide students with valuable opportunities to develop professional, intercultural, and global business competencies.
