Q: Why did you choose Denmark?
A: I chose Denmark because the level of education is so much higher in Denmark than in other European countries and that I will receive a worldwide-recognized diploma when I graduate. I like to travel and explore the world; therefore, coming to Denmark, one of the happiest countries in the world, was a good opportunity for me.
Q: Why did you choose to study Marketing Management?
A: I chose Marketing Management because of my background. I have always been interested in business, I always wanted to start my own company, and choosing this education was the first step to reach my goal.
Q: How did you find your internship?
A: My dream was to find an internship in Denmark so I searched on Dania Academy’s internship database for a company that would be compatible with my skills and me. I sent emails to many companies and I received good guidance from my teachers. They told me about some opportunities in Viborg, and so I went for it and tried my luck at Classic Parts Passion A/S.
Q: What are your tasks?
A: I am responsible for the UK market where I promote spare parts and accessories for Porsche and other classic cars. I work with Social Media and Customer Acquisition. Search Engine Optimization is also part of my task list. As part of my internship, I work on improving the company’s website and on creating new and interesting content for our customers and, of course, for a better Search Engine Ranking.
Q: How do you feel about your internship?
A: I feel that I made the right choice. I learned a lot about cars and the car industry. The fact that we are trading with different countries, made me learn more about marketing strategies, tools and regulations. It is amazing to see that what I am using what I learnt at Dania Academy and that my colleagues appreciate me. I feel that I contribute to the success of the company.
Q: Does it meet your expectations?
A: Yes, it does, and I am happy with the people I met there. They support me if I need any help and always care about my needs. They even invited me to a handball match in the weekend. I really feel part of the team.
Q: How are your colleagues?
A: How have you been welcomed in the company? Everyone welcomed me openly. They were very interested in me and that made me feel great. They wanted to know about my background and my home country Bulgaria. They trust me with completing tasks and I even have flexible working hours.
Q: What does the company do? What is their main activity?
A: Classic Parts Passion A/S is buying and reselling spare parts and accessories mainly in Europe but also in the USA market for rare and not so rare classic vehicles.
Q: Why did you choose an internship in Denmark?
A: I considered that having an internship in Denmark would be a good opportunity to practice my Danish and English language. Financially speaking, for me it was important to keep my student job here in Denmark.
Q: What is your advice for other students when it comes to choosing an internship company?
A: They should choose something that interests them. There are many companies from Denmark or Europe in Dania’s internship database. For instance, a classmate of mine found an internship in Thailand. If you are interested in working with and visiting other cultures, this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
