The programme equips you with the skills to protect businesses, organisations, and society’s digital infrastructure against cyber threats and security breaches.
You will learn how to prevent, detect, and respond to cyberattacks, while developing expertise in network security, encryption, security tools, and security management. You will also gain an understanding of governance, compliance, and organisational security culture.
Career opportunities include roles such as IT Security Consultant, Cyber Security Specialist, or Security Advisor in both private companies and public organisations.
Teaching combines theory, practical exercises, and project-based learning, giving you the opportunity to work on real-world cases and build hands-on experience in cyber security.
During the fifth semester, you will complete an internship where you will apply your theoretical knowledge of cyber security in a professional setting. You can choose to undertake your internship with your own company (entrepreneurship internship), abroad, or in a more traditional internship placement.
