Programme Structure
The Software Development top-up will train you both theoretically and practically.
The first semester of training focuses on artificial intelligence in gaming, machine code optimization, software testing and graphics programming. The second semester focuses on large systems such as multiplayer platforms, game engines, data and processing, as well as system integration. The third and final semester consists of an internship and a final project.
The education consists core subjects and specialisations. The below are core subjects:
- Development of large systems
- Databases for developers
- System integration and tests
In addition, specializations are:
- Computer graphics
- Software optimization
- Machine learning
Internship
In order to create the right balance between your theoretical knowledge and your ability to apply it in practice, you must spend three months as an intern in an organization.
The internship experience will give you an insight on life in the real-business world after graduation.
