In order to gain valuable insight in real life business matters, the students from Dania regularly take part in workshops and casework assignments. The most recent seminar had Racehall as centerpiece for which students had to design a new slogan. In groups, both Danish and international students exercised their creativity in order to find the proper slogan that meets the specific requirements.
Henrik Staermose, co-founder and CEO at Racehall explicitly asked the participants to come up with a slogan that will facilitate a better positioning for his company. "We started only with go-karts, but we have grown and now at Racehall, out guests can experience many more great services. We would like our slogan to clearly transmit this ide" says Henrik Staermose.
A 2-hour intense idea rally race led to the awarding of the best slogan. "It was hard to make a decision. There are so many great ideas!" tells Henrik Staermose inviting the students to follow up in order to see their ideas come to life.
Dania and Racehall have previously collaborated after one of the students from the Academy successfully finished her internship in Europe's largest indoor racetrack. The idea for the workshop came at the initiative of the lecturers who saw the potential of the opportunity. Mr. Staermose was also pleased with the outcome of the event "It was a constructive brainstorm. The students had some great ideas", points out Henrik Staermose.
Overall, the students received a valuable real life communication lesson about the challenges of transmitting the right message. Apart from the prize and the fun experience, the students have added relevant experience to their résumé.
